This is a mini version of our popular garden trug. Originally commissioned for the Lord of the Rings movie as a scaled down Hobbit sized trug and then recommissioned for the Narnia movie for Mr and Mrs Beaver. A good size for children or to use to bring produce or baking to the table.

Made in the South Island of New Zealand and entirely hand crafted from local poplar and coppiced willow. Traditional heritage trug making methods are used to split the timber, which is later steam bent into frames and dried before being assembled with copper boat nails. The bark handle, and rim, is finished with oil and bees wax polish.
