These handwoven 'D' shaped rattan placemats are an excellent addition to any table setting. They can also be used as a platform to showcase a vase with flowers from the garden or even a small sculpture.

Fili is a brand born in the Philippines of delicately handmade functional home items and decorative objects from the archipelago. Through Fili, designer Julia Villamonte translates a personal weaving practice into a growing permanent collection of forms, updated seasonally, through materials co-developed with local workshops. The D Mat is part of Weaving Lessons (2021), a collection inspired by a research trip to Labo, Camarines Norte.
